Same Old, Same Old.
It's Wednesday, so I'm talking about my weight. I'm the same as last week, 263. Sigh.
Enough about that.
Today we are heading out to Tarpon Springs. It's on the Gulf Coast, about ninety minutes from us, and famous for sponges. We are going to visit a museum, a video about the sponge industry and the area, hit up the gift shops, and have lunch at a well known fish house. It ought to be a lovey day, and you know there will be lots of pictures coming out tomorrow!
Last night was a lot of fun. We attended the Guys and Dolls cast party. Nice dinner and nice entertainment.
Mostly we are obsessing about the upcoming cruise this weekend. We are driving to Miami on Saturday afternoon, arriving after dark so Shabbat will be over and we can check into the hotel and have dinner at the Denny's next door. We stayed in this same hotel two years ago when we sailed out of Miami. We leave Sunday afternoon on the Carnival Valor, returning the following Sunday. We have so much to do to get ready. We haven't printed our luggage tags or boarding passes or thought at all about what to pack. Crazy.
Also I was very proud of Mark for finally putting together two of the three big bookshelves I bought him also last year for his den. When we throw out the three crappy ones and put in the three new ones, he will be able to finish unpacking his boxes of books and the den will look much nicer. Still it hasn't been a priority for him, so he just let the sit. He finally said he was tired of hearing me whine about how he hadn't done it! LOL! Sometimes whining does pay off.
