The convention yesterday. I ate way TOO MUCH and that continued at home with bedtime snacks. It's hard to calculate the calories with restaurant food, so I can only guess I was between 2500-3000 per day. I hope it wasn't more.
I gained 2.5 pounds in three days, going from 280 Tuesday morning to 282.5 this morning.
I already explained how there is a big dinner tonight, a huge brunch on Sunday, and a hot dog dinner out on Monday. Not looking real good for getting back on track. Crazy.
Guardians of the Galaxy, vol. 2 was fantastic. We stuffed ourselves with the flatbread and brussel sprouts, the beginning of my overeating trend. Still, we LOVED the movie, better than the first.
The convention was a lot of fun. I even had time to go to the pool Wednesday afternoon and do a 35 minute water aerobics routine. We enjoyed being around our friends from chapter 1224, and Mark even received an award from the Florida NARFE president for his work as the Florida Legislative Chairperson.

These five won awards for their chapters for raising money for Alzheimer's research, NARFE's charity. In the center is our chapter president, Bob Lemley. Our chapter raised the most of all chapters in Florida! |
