I lost 105 lbs. for surgery and a healthier future, hoped writing this blog would help me stay focused. The slideshow shows me from my highest of 322 pounds down to 211 pounds. Since my retirement and cancer diagnosis, weight has crept back. I focused on the cancer in 2010-11. Well, now it's Spring of 2015 and I have regained almost all the weight, back up to 284. I guess I should change the title to Weight Loss Journey AGAIN.

A great day
Mark's birthday was great. Here are a few pictures of him at the ball park and drinking the expensive whiskey. He couldn't have been happier.
We spent today at Disney. First we went to a movie at Downtown Disney, followed by a trip to Epcot. We had lunch at the Moroccan pavilion, strolled around for hours looking at all the beautiful displays for the Flower and Garden festival, and ended with a concert by the Guess Who. Their best known song is probably "American Woman."
The weather today was sunny, mid-70s, low humidity. Wow! Perfect weather.
I especially enjoyed not driving up to the cancer center for two whole days in a row.

It sounds like you had a wonderful day with your husband yesterday. Weather in the 70's sounds just great. I hope that your radiation went well today. We're both going to get stronger if you keep walking around Disney World and I keep walking for my paper route. It sounds like a good plan to fight cancer! Have a good evening.
