Yes, we saw the OK Corral and the re-enactment yesterday. Mark was in heaven!
Tombstone was a lot of fun yesterday. We had an easy drive down from Tucson. We stopped for ice cream in a town called Benson. They have 46 flavors of soft serve. I chose Kahlua! Next week they are doing 60 flavors, in honor of their 60th anniversary. We had read that this was a MUST DO on the way to Tombstone.
The re-enactment was a hoot! We also went to a video/diorama presentation on the history of Tombstone. Of course, we got the t-shirts.
This morning we are going to the Fluff and Fold up the street because laundry must be done on a long trip.
We will also see Boothill today, the courthouse, the Bird Cage theater, take a stage coach ride, and whatever else strikes our fancy until dinner. After dinner, we are taking a Ghost Tour!

Mark fit right in to Tombstone like he always lived here. |

Getting our tickets. Mark is not the only cowboy in town. |
|
Waiting for the re-enactment to start. |
|
My own cowboy! |

If there were really horses attached to this buckboard, he'd be ready to go. |
|
Statues in the actual spots where they stood, according to a map Wyatt Earp drew years later. |

Dinner at Big Nose Kate's Saloon |
|
Drinking coffee because Wyatt Earp was a teetotaller. |

Ah, forget that! A shot of Jim Beam Ghost because we had never heard of it and was a limited release, no longer available in stores. I didn't like it, so I don't care if it's no longer available. |
