It's 2017, and we have SEVEN cruises booked!

We have had a great start to the New Year.  We spent New Year's Eve at Epcot and stayed overnight at Old Key West so that we didn't have to drive home.  The next morning we had a lovely DVC Member Brunch at the Contemporary before heading home.

Tomorrow we are driving to Port Canaveral to board the Carnival Magic for two full weeks.  The first week cruise goes to Costa Maya (Mexico), Belize, Roatan (Honduras), and Cozumel (Mexico).  Then next Saturday we will immediately reboard in to the same room for another week.  The second week is the NARFE cruise with a total of 29 cabins booked to raise money for Alzheimer's Research.  That cruise is going to St. Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove (Dominican Republic).

I've fought a cold that turned into a nasty respiratory infection since the first weekend in December.  On Tuesday the 27th, I finally went to an Urgent Care and got three meds, including a strong antibiotic.  After six days on that antibiotic, I started to get some serious gastro problems.  I went back to the Urgent Care. He took me off that one and prescribed a different one, which I will finish tomorrow morning.  I think it all worked.  My singing and speaking voice is not 100% yet, but at least I feel well.

We had a great Tourist Tuesday this past Tuesday with friends Susie and Ed.  We went to Bok Tower and Spook Hill. They were both so much fun.  We actually bought an Annual Membership to Bok Tower and will go again.

Finally just tonight, Lowell and Emily decided to spend some time with us down here this summer.  I booked us three nights at our home DVC resort of The Grand Floridian for some nice Disney time.  We'll figure out the rest of the week later.

There will be no more blogs for at least two weeks.  I weighed 277 this morning, not great, but down from 286 a few weeks ago. Guess I should be happy.  Hanukkah and New Year's should did involve a lot of eating!

Outside Le Cellier in Canada in Epcot after our lunch on Dec. 31,  2016.

In party mode for our dinner reservation!
