Mr. and Mrs. Eric Gaertner had a spectacular wedding!

I haven't posted since last Thursday because the internet at the Hilton Back Bay was not free. UGH. Then when we left yesterday there just wasn't time at the East Brunswick Comfort Inn. We were just too exhausted when we got in after 11 p.m.

Most of you who read this blog have already received my Picasa web album of photos from my camera. The picture captions explain everything. Be sure not to use the slideshow feature. It's better just to click on the album to open all the pictures. Then double click on the first picture. That gives you complete control over when to move on to the next picture. You can read the captions and look at the pictures as long as you want. If you choose slideshow, it will move too fast to enjoy it.

Just in case you are reading this blog and did not get the Picasa web album, I have posted a few shots here, too. You can also go to the Flickr site that Evey and Eric set up so all their friends can share each other's photos. It is www.photos.ericandevey.com. Check that out, too.

The link to the professional photographer's photos will be up eventually, and I'll be sure to share that with everyone. I might write some more tomorrow, but right now I'm tired again after driving in pouring down rain and flash floods all day today and yesterday. This weather is crazy now, but it was perfect in Boston all weekend during the wedding festivities.

We were all thrilled. It was a magnificent wedding; everything they wanted it to be. At this point, they have taken off from JFK airport to Barcelona, Spain for two days in Spain before boarding the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas for a Mediterranean cruise.

We wish them a long, healthy, happy marriage.

  1. Becky,
Congratulations to you and your family. The pictures are so beautiful. I think the picture of you in the dark green dress is so beautiful. I hope that you can get plenty of rest for a few days. Take care of yourself.
