Big Hero Six and Epcot Food and Wine Festival

The forecast calls for rain until around 11 this morning, and then the day will stay cloudy and cool.  Who cares?  We are heading to Downtown Disney to see the first show of the day of the new Disney film Big Hero Six.  Everyone we know who has seen it has loved it.  There is even supposed to be a 40 foot statue of the main character outside the theater.  Then we will head to Epcot for our fifth and final lunch at the Food and Wine Festival.  Except for a cheese plate back in the American pavilion area, we have eaten all the main dishes we care about.   Today we will do some "seconds," and the cheese plate, plus assorted alcohol and dessert.  Mark is interested in the tequila flight at Mexico!  We will also check out what is at the Back to Basics lecture.  So far we have done Joffrey's Coffee with free coupons for coffee at Epcot kiosks, Twinings Tea with a dozen free tea bags and a box of Pumpkin Spice Chair tea Keurig's that I won in a drawing, Kumquat Growers with a free kumquat to pop in your mouth and a book of recipes, and last week's Kerrygold Butter exhibit with four types of butter and crackers to try topped off with a shortbread cookie. We went right out and bought some butter the next day, along with a Kerrygold Cheddar Cheese block.  All have been fascinating and delicious. I hope today's talk is just as delicious!

We haven't stayed for very many of the concerts this year.  Today's group is Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. I don't know them or their songs, so I don't think it will matter to us whether we stay or not.

Now back to Mark.  He will take his last Cipro pill this morning.  Yay!  Hopefully, it will not come back.  He was right all along that there was a second lab result coming in.  He got it online and it showed e coli in the urine.  Yes, he had a UTI after all.  We had no idea that e coli is a very, very common cause of UTIs.  That kind of thing can also travel to the prostate and cause prostatitis, so since he never saw a doctor to state a specific diagnosis, we don't really know if it was just the UTI or also the prostatitis.  Probably doesn't matter.  The Cipro has worked and he feels mostly back to normal.  If it's just a UTI, the seven day course of Cipro will be all he needs.  If it was Prostatitis, then it might come back.  The web sources say it's harder to knock out and can take 4-6 weeks on an antibiotic.  Let's hope it was just a UTI.
