Slowly improving

Mark is slowly improving every day.  He has had no ill effects from taking Cipro, and little by little he is feeling more himself and less discomfort.  Last night he had a very normal sugar reading at bedtime for the first time since last Wednesday.  This morning it was still higher than he would like, 196, but the previous mornings it was always in the 200s.  This is better.

It's Election Day!  Mark and I will be up at the ballroom voting pretty soon.  I'm excited to exercise my right to vote.

Our good friend Barbara K is flying into Orlando this afternoon while I'm getting a mani/pedi/hair trim.  Mark will pick her up.  We'll have a few hours together, including dinner, before dropping her off at the Gaylord Palms for a conference.  On Friday we will pick her up again and take her to our house.   We can have Shabbat dinner together and she'll sleep over before her early flight home Saturday morning.  Looking forward to this because we haven't seen her since Lowell's wedding.
