Today it will be 82 and sunny, overnight low of 52, but storms will roll in this evening. Tomorrow the high will be 57, Tuesday night low of 39! It's time to take Treeful in from the lanai, and let him live in the living room until Spring.
Our house guest did not have a good day yesterday. He is very scared that his fever is still there. It hit a high of 101 in the evening, and he was VERY upset by that. He spent the day in bed again. This morning he is sending us to the store for an enema bag and a digital thermometer. He's tired of shaking down his old style thermometer. It's making his wrist hurt, and and he is getting constipated. Of course, he has decided to stop taking Tylenol for the fever because he is worried about liver damage, so he should expect to keep having a fever until the infection is gone. Yesterday when he was literally crying on the lanai about how he does not expect to live until the end of the year, we reminded him that he had only taken 3 doses of the Cipro. He shouldn't expect the infection to be knocked out before at least 6 or 7 doses are swallowed, which will be tonight. I predict he will feel better tomorrow.
We cancelled our plans to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the Osborne Lights. Our friend Edward was going to get him in for free, but we called him and cancelled that last night. Maybe it's just as well since it's going to be raining and getting cold and raw feeling.
Instead I can go play Mah Jongg with my neighbors!
Monday weigh-in, quick report, 267 even this morning, essentially the same as last week.
