A very fine Shabbat

We usually do nothing during Shabbat travel days because we don't spend money.  It's a day for rest and relaxation; however, now that you can buy tickets for so many things in advance, we were able to do some things yesterday.  We used the City Pass to go the Houston Museum of Fine Art and Fandango to buy tickets to the new Star Trek: Beyond movie.  Both were excellent choices.  I even had some time in between to do water aerobics in the pool for 25 minutes.

Tomorrow is the official weigh-in day, but it still doesn't look good.  I am up three pounds since we left Tuesday.  All of it was that splurge Thursday night in the kosher restaurant, and the last two days have stayed the same.  I'm hoping today might help.  There is no reason why today should be a bad day.  I've planned for about 1300 calories.  I'll report tomorrow.

Today we are driving out to the San Jacinto battlefield.  Mark visited it a long time ago when he was here for work, but he is more than happy to go back.  Then we are going to the aquarium.  We should be home early enough to do laundry tonight.

In the fall, Mark will be in the play Art, about three guys and an all white piece of art. I guess this is the opposite?

Great pool!
