"That's the way, Uh-Huh, Uh-Huh, I like it!"

Yes, it was a good week. I'm down exactly THREE pounds. Averaging two pounds a week is what all the experts say you should do, so a week with 3 pounds gone is a very good week. I''m now down 71 from when I saw the doctor the first time on April 8, 92 down from when I started this new plan on Inauguration Day of 2009, and 97 from my all-time high in April of 2007. Yes, it was a good week.

  1. I am watching Good Morning America where they are interviewing a 400 pound young mother who, inspired by the Julia movie, is using a blog as a means to lose 100 pounds in a year.   2. WAY TO GO!!! Yep - I've heard the same thing. ACtually, I've heard that the slower and more steady you lose the weight - the more likely you are to keep the weight off. I'm guessing that's because you've created new habits!
