Trying again from phone

Evey showed me what I need to do to type a message in the main body. This phone is amazing and so is Evey! I have been having a great time playing with my daughter and my phone.

  1. Hi Becky,

Looks like you are going to have a great Thanksgiving! How nice that Evey is in town. Yesterday I sat next to a 68ish year old woman on a Southwest flight and she couldn't stop talking about her iphone4 that her son insisted she buy even though she barely uses a computer. She showed me apps, photos, all sorts of stuff. I've been resisting but she certainly got me thinking harder about making the switch from my very, very old phone (which I am very comfortable with). It has the Cingular logo from before they merged with ATT so that's an indication of it's age. Glad you are having fun with your new toy. Just keep pressing/touching icons and don't be afraid. They say that is the way to learn. Hope to see you in shul soon.

  2. Hi Becky,

I am so glad that Evey arrived there safely. Please don't worry about your weight gain just forget it for now. Please enjoy having lots of fun and laughs with Evey.

I hope you enjoy your dinners and the conversations that you will have this week.

John thinks you two getting iphone4's is cool! :-)

One question from John to Evey...Are there Krispy Kreme Stores in CA? The two of us were raised on them. There aren't very many of them in VA either. The closest is in Alexandria about 1 hour away. (Thank God, though!)

    We love you all,
    Bev

  3. Hi Jackie and Bev,
Jackie, yes, not being afraid and just pushing things seems to work! Evey has been very helpful. I wanted the ability to have my google calendar available to me in my hand when I was making doctor's appointments. Now I can add something to my calendar on the phone somewhere and it will also show up on my laptop. All my contacts (including addresses, emails, phone numbers) that are on my laptop are now available to me on the phone also. This is a useful tool as well as a great toy. I can download books to read like on my Kindle as well as play songs on it like an iPod. It's an all-inclusive machine. Oh, yeah, it also makes phone calls and texts, too. LOL

Bev, I never heard of Krispy Kreme growing up in MD, but when they moved in here a lot of people were very happy. Evey said she's seen them in the stores to buy but no stores. In CA she said all the donut shops are all little independently owned donut shops. Very different.

  4. I am so happy that your new phone is working well and that you have an in-home tutor present 24/7 to train you. Have a great time with her and with getting ready for Thanksgiving.
