Mr. Handy Solutions came, just a little behind schedule, and tore down the master bathroom shower. So much dust! They did a pretty good job of trying to contain it, but dust is still everywhere. They took up the two toilets in the guest bath and powder room. Both had something underneath broken, causing them to wobble, so now they are repaired and sturdy. That's great. We never did go to Lowe's to buy the new, taller toilet for the master bath or the tiles for the shower. Still, they put up the new wallboards and built the niche and the seat. Things are progressing. Today we are scheduled to go shop at 9:30. I hope they are on time.
We have one big concern. The wall board in the shower looked wet on the bottom when we went to bed. Mark took a photo of it. Sure enough, the wet spots are twice as big this morning. I'm afraid there is something leaking through from the wall behind our bathroom, which is the guest bathroom. If they have to start ripping out that bathroom as well, we are going to be adding a heck of a lot more to the final costs. OY!
I ate perfectly yesterday, 1322 calories. Today will be about the same. I am anticipating reporting loss for this week!
