Opening Night!

The play The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge opens tonight!  Hard to believe it's actually here.
Here are a few pictures of us getting ready backstage yesterday morning.

Yesterday we had a Three-Part day, participating in three of our favorite things.  All morning we had the next to last dress rehearsal of the play with an audience.  Three of our neighbors were in the audience because the show was sold out.  Anyone who couldn't get a ticket or couldn't come is always invited to see the last two dress rehearsals.  Then after coming home to change and have lunch, we headed out to Epcot for our third and final trip to the Food and Wine Festival. We ate at the Singapore, Africa, Cheese Board, Poland, and China kiosks.  Yummy!  Finally, we had a choir rehearsal at the synagogue.  Long but happy day.

The tile is all up in the shower, including the floor.  It looks very nice.  They are not coming today at all so the tile mortar can set.  They'll be back tomorrow to grout and hopefully install the new toilet, as well.  They also put the five new lights in the kitchen.  WOWWEEE WOW!  They are amazing.  It's like we've been living in the twilight and now it's daylight in there.  Shocking difference.

So off to the final dress rehearsal with an audience.  Then tonight it's opening night!  Yes, it's finally here.  I hope I can get some pictures to show you that were taken yesterday during the rehearsal.  I haven't seen any of them yet, but if I can get some of them, I will share them eventually.

BTW, I gained a pound and a half eating dinner out last night.  I think it's probably just sodium holding water, so I hope it's all gone by tomorrow.  I'll let you know.
